Running VisiKey On A Windows XP PC

VisiKey will only run on a PC running Windows XP if it is run using Windows 2000 compatibility mode.

Follow the seven steps below to set VisiKey to run in Windows 2000 compatibility mode.

1   Install VisiKey on the Windows XP PC as normal

Locate the syswin.exe file
(usually located in C:\System or C:\Program Files\Morley Electronics Limited\VisiKey)
     
3   Select properties for syswin.exe
     
4   Select the Compatibility Tab
     
5   Tick the box to the left of the text 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'
     
6  

Select Windows 2000 from the drop-down list
     
7   Press the Apply button
