The
above diagram shows a Sentinel network connected via an RS232 connection.
It would be possible to connect multiple Sentinel networks to one host PC
by installing more RS232 COM ports in the host PC.
The
local connection uses the RS232 COM port on the host PC as a direct connection
from the PC running Sentinel Lite to the RS232 connector of the master controller
of the Sentinel network. It is also possible to connect a single Sentinel
controller to the Host PC in the same manner.
